CIBC Just for Kids Clinic

Alert

Given the current resurgence of measles in Ontario and worldwide, our Pediatric clinics are on high alert for any suspected cases.

Measles Symptoms Include:

  • Fever, cough/cold and full body rash

Measles is an extremely contagious virus. If you believe your child may have Measles please call the CIBC Just for Kids Clinic prior to coming in person.

Clinic updates

Our clinic is no longer accepting walk-ins. All patients must have a booked Save My Spot slot. 

Important notes on booking:

  • Slots are now opening daily at 7 a.m.
  • Do not book more than one slot per child. Duplicate bookings will be deleted.
  • A grace period will be given to those that are late for their save by spot slot and then released to open up booking to those awaiting care. To avoid losing your spot, please be on time for your reserved time. 
  • If you no longer need this save my spot slot, please cancel your slot via MyChart or the link in your email confirmation.
  • If you do not receive an email confirmation of your appointment, please check your junk mail. 

Explainer: Where to take your child for care if they are unwell

We do NOT see patients at the clinic for the following issues:

  • Suspected fractures
  • Head Injuries
  • Suturing
  • Immunizations (including RSV)
  • Mental Health concerns

*If your child is having trouble breathing, is weak and very tired, or has been vomiting many times a day and not drinking very much, your child should be taken to your nearest Emergency Department.

Save My Spot Booking

The Just for Kids Clinic is experiencing a significant increase in volumes of pediatric patients. In order to minimize wait times and crowding at peak times throughout the day, we require patients to book a “save my spot” booking. “Save my spot” is not your appointment time although every effort will be made to see patients in a timely manner.

Please be aware that the JFK Clinic is staffed by on-call physicians who may be called to an emergency during their time in the clinic resulting in delays.

Please aim to arrive 10 minutes prior to your save my spot time to allow for registration.

The Just for Kids Clinic is committed to providing a safe work environment and service that is free from violence, bullying and harassment. We have a zero tolerance policy and appropriate action will be taken in response to behavior which is inconsistent with this policy.

Monday to Friday

10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. *spots will open for booking daily at 7 a.m.

Weekends

10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. *spots will open for booking daily at 7 a.m.

In the event that you cannot get a “save my spot” booking and your child is unwell, please take them to your family doctor, pediatrician, urgent care clinics, virtual ED or nearest Emergency Department.
