Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Project
About our EPR project
When Unity Health Toronto established our first strategic plan in 2019, we committed to transforming our digital and physical infrastructure to provide the best care experiences for our patients, families and community members. A key step in this work is planning and implementing a network-wide electronic patient record (EPR) system that supports multiple care environments, from home to hospital and community.
Project Connect
Our new EPR system will enable an integrated health care system at Unity Health, so that our team of physicians, staff and learners can share information, working closely together to ensure that each patient receives the best possible care experiences across the spectrum of their health care journey. We named our EPR project Project Connect, which represents the ways in which our new EPR system will bring us together as a connected organization. Watch this video to learn more.
