When patients are seen by a member of our team, they may be asked to meet with a research coordinator if their condition is one that is actively being studied. Participation in research studies is completely voluntary. All research that is conducted at St. Michael’s Hospital has been fully approved by a special research committee called the Research Ethics Board which helps to ensure that research studies are coordinated in a safe, ethical manner.

There are several research coordinators working in the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service, and they are currently recruiting research studies.
