Meet the teams

Meet some of the teams behind all the inspiring sustainability work at Unity Health.

Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee is comprised of members throughout various departments who are responsible for:

  • Fostering a culture of sustainability by supporting initiatives;
  • Communicating and sharing successes across the organization;
  • Assisting in running events and promoting initiatives to foster staff engagement; and
  • Connecting groups and individuals to encourage and support initiatives.

Project Engineering and Energy Team are comprised of project engineers, project coordinators, energy project managers, and strategy and quality improvement specialists who are responsible for infrastructure renewal and energy projects.

Sustainability Subcommittees are comprised of multidisciplinary members throughout various departments across Unity Health who work on improving sustainability within the following areas.

  • Providence Healthcare
  • St. Joseph’s Health Centre Ambulatory Care Centre
  • St. Joseph’s Health Centre Labour and Delivery
  • St. Joseph’s Health Centre Perioperative
  • St. Michael’s Hospital Academic Family Health Team
  • St. Michael’s Hospital Operating Room
