Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery
Otolaryngology (Ears, nose and throat) is a wide-ranging field of medicine that covers the medical and surgical care of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, face and neck. These conditions are typically acquired problems such as infections, benign and malignant tumours of the salivary glands, thyroid, parathyroids and neck.
The members of our division have a combined expertise of international and national renown, and all have appointed positions to the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Toronto.
The services offered at St. Joseph’s are:
- General otolaryngology, including pediatric otolaryngology
- Sinonasal surgery
- Thyroid and parathyroid surgery
- Salivary gland surgery
- Neck surgery
- Facial plastic and reconstructive surgery (with an emphasis on nasal reconstruction)
