Biography

Dr. Thomas Dashwood completed medical school, internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship in Toronto, Ontario. He also completed additional training in specialized HIV care and addiction medicine.

He holds a master’s of Science in System Leadership and Innovation from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Dashwood is interested in health system management, policy and innovation, particularly as it applies to infection control and HIV prevention and care.

Dr. Dashwood openly identifies as gay and is a strong advocate for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
