
Thomas Parker
A cardiologist and clinician-scientist, Dr. Parker previously served as Executive Vice President, Clinical Programs & Chief Medical Officer, Unity Health Toronto, and before that the Head of the Division of Cardiology and the Brazilian Ball Chair in Cardiovascular Research at St. Michael’s. He was subsequently Physician-in-Chief and Squires-Chalmers Professor in the Department of Medicine. He is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and his contributions to cardiovascular research are recognized with Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
He received his MD from the University of Western Ontario and undertook clinical training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University of Toronto followed by a Fellowship in Molecular Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
