
Mark Wheatcroft
Dr. Wheatcroft is a graduate of Edinburgh University medical school, UK and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He trained in the UK and completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Toronto prior to his appointment as a staff vascular surgeon at St. Michael’s Hospital in 2012.
His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of vascular surgery but with a particular interest in the endovascular and open surgical management of aortic disease and extra cranial carotid disease. He is the current interim Division Head of vascular surgery and is the lead clinician of the EVAR program.
Dr. Wheatcroft is an Associate Professor within the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto and is the program director for Surgical Foundations and the International Fellowship in Vascular Surgery.
