Vikram Gurtu

Dr. Vikram Gurtu completed his medical degree at the University of Calgary and subsequently completed residency training and was chief resident in the Internal Medicine and Cardiology programs at the University of Alberta and Mazankowski Heart Institute. He pursued further advanced research training in the Clinician Investigator Program, along with clinical fellowship training in Advanced Echocardiography at the University of Alberta and Mazankowski Heart Institute. He then joined the Integrative Physiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto, where he completed advanced training in exercise hemodynamics. He then completed fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation at Mount Sinai Hospital and Toronto General Hospital at the University of Toronto. His clinical interests include heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.
